G'day, I am a Red Tailed Black Cockatoo that lives at Cooberrie Park. In 2005 I moved to this wildlife sanctuary after I was hit by a car and had my wing amputated. I now live my best friend who also cannot fly and is also a Red Tailed Black Cockatoo. You can help pay for my food, medical and housing requirements.

I was born with a gentic condition called Micropthalmia which means I was blind from birth. I was found roaming the streets of the Gold Coast. I was then rescued and taken to the Australian Wildlife Hospital on the Sunshine Coast. In April 2009 I moved to Cooberrie Park. I will be staying here for the rest of my life. You can Sponsor me for a one off payment of $50 help pay for my food, medical and housing requirements.

Koala House Renovation

You can help us achieve our goal of building a brand new Koala facility as well as upgrade our current enclosure. So far we have built 2 new Koala enclosures and we need to build 8 more. For $250 you get an engraved plaque placed permanantly onto our existing Koala house. All money raised goes towards building our new Koala facilty. We are on track to continue construction during 2010!

Enclosure

Build a Koala Enclosure

Each enclosure sponsorship allows us to construct a new Koala Enclosure. $1500 buys all the materials needed and we provide the labour. You also get to name your enclosure and get to add advertising signage up to 100cmx50cm. You also become a diamond sponsor. So far we have constructed 3 new Koala Enclosures and we need to build 7 more during 2010!

Did you know one of my Glider friends living in my home was attacked by a cat in Brisbane? She had half her tail amputated but she still gets around okay.

G'day, my name is Princess Sly and I was found by myself as a baby. As Foxes were introduced to Australia, I was unable to return to the wild. I was handraised from a baby and live in Cooberrie Park's brand new Fox Enclosure. I share my home with Britt who is also a rescued Fox. G'day my name is Risky. I was born at Cooberrie Park. At 6 months old I was found lifeless lying on the floor of my home. My mom had thrown me out. My mom stopped producing milk to early and could no longer look after me. I was handraised at Cooberrie Park and I love cuddles. You can help pay for my food, medical and housing requirements.
