Help us help our wildlife. Every year we receive many new injured, abandoned and neglected animals, and we want to help them all. However, Cooberrie Park receives no Government funding and relies solely on admission and donations, so please help us – we can’t do it without you!
Every year Wildlife Rehabilitation HQ Inc. take care of more than 150 sick, injured or orphaned animals that are later released back to the wild. Sadly, this number is only increasing each year.
Our greatest expenses come in the form of;
Marsupial Milk – Veterinary treatment – Specialist food – Heat equipment – Enclosures
To give you a small indication of the costs involved in helping our Native Wildlife, it costs an average of $1200 per Joey Kangaroo and $250 each bird, this is not including all the Volunteer and Wildlife Keepers time.
Last year Cooberrie Park contributed an additional $30,000 to the kind donations received that financial year.
Wildlife Rehabilitation HQ Inc. receives no government support and relies on the generosity of the community.
